3% Healthcare Contribution Refund
The Office of Retirement Services released a FAQ pertaining to the refund of the 3% healthcare contributions deducted from public school employee paychecks. As the district is preparing to process these checks, we need to ensure correct addresses for any former employees who worked for Maple Valley Schools anytime between July 1, 2010 – September 30, 2012 but are no longer employed by the district.
Refund payments will be PRINTED CHECKS and processing will begin in late January, early February. Checks for former employees will be held by the district until we have confirmed the mailing address of the former employees.
If you are a former employee of Maple Valley Schools who worked for the district between July 1, 2010 – September 30, 2012, you MUST verify your current address. NO CHECKS WILL BE MAILED TO FORMER EMPLOYEES WITHOUT FIRST VERIFYING YOUR ADDRESS.
